Dasia Bowens obtained her bachelor’s degree in Child and Family Studies with a minor in Psychology in 2019 from The University of Louisiana at Lafayette. Dasia is a Second year Intern currently attaining her master’s degree in Counseling and Human Development with a Concentration in couple marriage and family. She primarily works with children, teens and young adults of all backgrounds and walks of life.  She utilizes several approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral therapy and person-centered techniques to encourage growth and promote healing and focuses on depression and anxiety. Dasia is currently Trained in CPT (Cognitive Processing therapy), Trauma-focused CBT, CPR certified and also trained in Suicide prevention. During her free time, Dasia enjoys walks in the park, traveling, and trying new food.
